2 years after the birth of my 2nd child my abs still hadn't come back together so I decided to do private lessons with Lynsey. I am a regular exerciser but have never really done pilates - wow did Lynsey change my opinion of pilates! She is such a great teacher, she noticed things about my posture that resonated with me straight away, she adapted exercises to be correct for me and was so particular about me doing exercises correctly to get the benefit - I really found it a workout! Lynsey gave me detailed instructions for 'homework' each week. In a 6 week block we managed to reduce my split abs from 4 fingers down to 1-2, absolutely amazing! Lynsey is so warm and caring and I truly enjoyed the lessons each week. Thank you Lynsey!

I really enjoy Lynsey's pilates class. She is warm and friendly and a great teacher. Everything is clearly explained and it flows from one move to another and you feel that your whole body has been strengthened. There are choices of how intense you can make each move, so it's great for beginners as well as the more experienced. Definitely recommended.

“A hugely informative and relaxed workshop which made me realise that I’ve been doing my pelvic floor exercises wrong for the last few years! The session has left me feeling a lot calmer about my approach going forward; realising that it is achievable to work at strengthening my pelvic floor regularly in a manageable way. After having my third baby my body didn’t spring back like it had done before. I had a gap in my abs that meant I had a paunch that made me still look pregnant! I was gutted! I couldn’t get back to my normal exercise for risk of making it worse and I felt really down and totally lost! Someone recommended Lynsey to me and I am so glad that she agreed to train me. In just six sessions Lynsey has got me back to having good core strength. The gap has closed, my flared ribs have begun to move back down to their old position and I’m safe to do exercises that I used to. I found Lynsey really understanding and so knowledgeable. We had fun sessions, packed with loads of great exercises and tips to carry into everyday life too. Lynsey set me ‘homework’ that was manageable and really helped to maintain the momentum of my recovery. Not only has Lynsey helped to totally transform my shape and posture but she’s really given me my confidence back. I could never thank Lynsey enough for all of her help and support, which is ongoing. I’ll be joining her group Pilates classes soon.

The workshop was very helpful, a relaxed and friendly environment to learn about pelvic floor problems. The detailed explanation how the pelvic floor works was a very good introduction to learn about the potential problems and to understand that everyone’s issues can occur for different reasons, which was an eye opener. The combination of theory with breathing exercises and some yoga and Pilates was very effective to start to learn how to engage the core and importantly also how to relax it. I would definitely recommend this workshop when you have pelvic floor issues but don’t know what the cause is or how to improve it.

Your pelvic floor workshop was very informative and having a hand out to refer to was useful. Bladder weakness affects so many women and we need to talk and share how to seek help ourselves. I had a really negative private consultation with a Consultant (female) uro/gynaecologist who told me to drink less fluids and start medication! I didn’t follow her ‘sticking plaster’ advice nor did I attend the follow up consultation!

I've never done Pilates before and I am not a sporty person, however I am LOVING my Monday evening classes with LK After showing us the steps to follow in front of a small group, Lynsey takes care of each one of us: imparting specific advice, watching everyone carefully to make sure we are doing it right, and even helps us move around to ensure we are in the correct position! Lynsey is a knowledgeable, kind and caring instructor and I am really benefiting from the friendly and relaxed environment (even though I do feel challenged!). Looking forward to next Monday night because no matter how tired I feel on the night I always feel invigorated by the end of the session
